# Can Suno make a jingle with my company name for commercial use?

Yes, with conditions. As of 17 Oct 2026, Suno grants commercial use for songs made and downloaded while you subscribe to its Pro or Premier plan; songs from the plan it calls Free are for personal, non-commercial use. Suno also says commercial rights are not the same as copyright protection. You can put your company name in the lyrics, but pronunciation, length and claims are yours to get right.

Updated 17 Oct 2026

Paste your product page. SingingAds writes a jingle about it, sings it and cuts a vertical video ad, using only claims your page makes.

From $15 for one ad, or $29 a month for about 4 thirty-second video ads. Made with AI; you approve every word before anything is sung.

## What Suno’s own pages say

- **Pricing FAQ:** "Free plans don't include commercial rights. If you're on Pro or Premier, you can use your songs commercially," and you must follow the rules of the platform you post on.

- **Help center:** "Songs downloaded while subscribed are granted commercial use rights." It lists monetizing, distribution to streaming, use in film, TV or games, and selling independently.

- **Terms of Service** (revised 10 Aug 2026): on Pro or Premier, Suno assigns you its rights in your Output, but "makes no representation or warranty to you that any copyright will vest" in it.

- **Downloads matter:** you may commercially use Output only if you obtained a permitted download within your plan's monthly allocation. Recording or stream-ripping a song instead is prohibited.

- **Rights survive cancellation:** rights in a download you obtained are not affected by the expiry, cancellation or downgrade of your subscription.

- **Remixes** made with Suno's remix features stay personal and non-commercial on every plan.

## Plans, as listed on 17 Oct 2026

Suno's pricing page lists Pro from USD 8 a month and Premier from USD 24 a month on yearly billing, with a 20% saving shown for annual plans. Pro includes 2,500 credits and 20 song downloads a month; Premier includes 10,000 credits, 60 downloads and Suno Studio. Both list "Commercial use rights". The plan called Free gives 50 credits a day, no monthly song downloads and no commercial rights.

## How to make a usable company-name jingle in Suno

- **Subscribe before your final takes.** Suno's help center says non-commercial use generally applies to songs made on the no-cost plan, with occasional exceptions. Do not rely on an exception for an ad.

- **Write the lyrics yourself.** Keep it to four short lines for a 15-second cut: problem, product name, one benefit, the action.

- **Spell the name the way it sounds.** If "Kettle and Crumb" comes out as "Kettle-un Crum", try spacing or phonetic spelling in the lyric box, then listen to every take. (SingingAds handles this with a respelling field; see [a song that sings your brand name](https://singingads.com/use-cases/song-that-sings-my-brand-name).)

- **Plan the edit.** You will usually trim the track to the ad length and end on the hook, then build the video, captions and end card in an editor.

- **Download through Suno's own button** and keep a note of the plan and the date you made it.

- **Check every claim.** Suno's terms make you responsible for what you submit and use. If the lyric says "fresh every morning", your shop must actually bake every morning.

## Suno or a dedicated ad tool for this job

- **Rights:** Suno, commercial on Pro or Premier for downloaded songs. SingingAds, every paid ad may be used in ads, social, websites, radio and podcasts, with no royalties.

- **Lyrics:** Suno, you write or prompt them. SingingAds drafts them from your product page and shows you the claims list.

- **Length:** Suno songs need trimming for ads. SingingAds writes to 15, 30 or 60 seconds.

- **Video:** Suno gives you the song; the ad is a separate edit. SingingAds delivers a 9:16 MP4 with word-by-word captions and the song.

- **Cost to try:** Suno Pro is cheap per song if you will make many. SingingAds sells a single-ad pack; see [pricing](https://singingads.com/pricing).

Suno is the better tool if you want a full brand song, a long anthem for your channel, stems, or lots of genre experiments. For a product ad you can upload this week, compare the steps on Suno vs SingingAds for ads.

## Example lyrics for Suno (illustrative)

**Business:** Kettle & Crumb, a fictional neighborhood bakery. ** Page claims:** sourdough baked daily, open 7 am. ** Target:** a 15-second cut from a longer Suno take.

*Seven a.m., the oven's warm, / Kettle and Crumb, sourdough's the norm, / Baked today and on your street, / Kettle and Crumb, come get a seat.*

Two name mentions, two claims, one action. If the singer blurs "and Crumb", rewrite it as "Kettle 'n' Crumb" and generate again.

## What it can’t do

- SingingAds writes to fixed ad lengths only; it will not make a three-minute brand anthem.
- SingingAds sings your brand name at most three times per ad, because the music model can refuse made-up names sung too often.
- Neither tool promises that you will hold a copyright in AI-generated music; Suno says so plainly in its terms.

## What it costs

## Questions

**Can I use a Suno song I made on the no-cost plan if I upgrade later?**

Suno's help center says songs made while not subscribed are generally for personal use, with exceptions only on occasion. For an ad, make and download the final version while on Pro or Premier.

**Do I own a Suno jingle?**

On Pro or Premier, Suno's terms assign you its rights in the Output. They also say Suno makes no warranty that copyright vests in it, and its help center notes copyright is decided by your country's copyright office.

**Can I use my Suno jingle on TV or radio?**

Suno's help article on paid rights lists film, TV and video games among allowed uses for songs downloaded while subscribed. Each broadcaster or platform may add its own rules.

**What happens if I cancel Suno?**

Its terms say rights in a song you downloaded are not affected by the expiry, cancellation or downgrade of your subscription. Songs you never downloaded are a different matter.

**Will Suno check that my lyrics are allowed in ads?**

We found nothing on Suno's pricing, help or terms pages about checking ad claims. That part is on you, so keep lyrics to what your website already states.
