# Original jingle or stock music for your ads

Use stock or trending music when you want mood under a voiceover or a trend on TikTok; use an original jingle when you want the music itself to carry your brand name. As of 17 Oct 2026, the licences differ by platform: TikTok's Commercial Music Library covers business use only on TikTok, and Epidemic Sound allows ad campaigns on its Pro or Enterprise plans.

Updated 17 Oct 2026

Paste your product page. SingingAds writes a jingle about it, sings it and cuts a vertical video ad, using only claims your page makes.

From $15 for one ad, or $59 for about 6 thirty-second video ads. Credits never expire. Made with AI; you approve every word before anything is sung.

## What the music licences say about ads

- **TikTok Commercial Music Library:** its user terms let brands and advertisers use Commercial Sounds in videos posted on TikTok, including advertising. "Commercial Uses outside of TikTok are not permitted", including other digital platforms, TV and radio. The terms also refer to the general music library as non-commercial, for personal users.

- **CapCut:** its Materials License Agreement limits Commercial Sounds to CapCut, TikTok and TikTok for Business; ordinary Sounds are personal and non-commercial.

- **Epidemic Sound:** its pricing FAQ says the catalog is royalty-free with unlimited usage, and "you can use our music and sound effects for ad campaigns if you choose a Pro or Enterprise plan".

Trending songs need the most care: a sound that is everywhere on your For You page can sit in the personal library rather than the commercial one, so check before you put it in an ad. Canva's rules are summed up on Canva or CapCut vs a singing ad.

## Side by side

- **Says your name:** stock, no. Trending, no. Original jingle, yes, in the hook.

- **Where it can run:** stock, per its plan's terms. TikTok commercial sounds, on TikTok only. A SingingAds jingle, in ads, social, websites, radio and podcasts.

- **Who else uses it:** stock and trending tracks appear in other brands' ads too. An original jingle is written for your product.

- **Effort:** stock is a search and a click. A jingle needs a brief and approval, which SingingAds drafts from your page.

- **Fit with a voiceover:** stock beds sit under speech well. A sung jingle replaces the voiceover.

## When stock or trending music is the right call

- Your ad is a spoken demo or a testimonial, and the music should stay out of the way.

- You are joining a TikTok trend organically, where the familiar sound is the point.

- You make long YouTube videos and need many tracks every month.

- You want one subscription covering music for your whole team's content.

Before you post, open the track's licence page and check three things: that ads are allowed on your plan, which platforms are covered, and whether the licence ends when your subscription does.

## When an original jingle earns its place

A jingle does a job stock music cannot: it puts the product name in the viewer's head when they were not looking at the screen. That matters for placements watched with sound on, for local radio and podcasts, and for brands whose name people struggle to remember. One file also travels: the same song can sit under your TikTok, your Reels ad and a radio spot without three separate licence checks. Write it like a hook, not a theme: the buyer's problem in the first line, the name by the second, one claim from your page, and the action at the end. See the format on [examples](https://singingads.com/examples), and how a sung name works on [a song that sings your brand name](https://singingads.com/use-cases/song-that-sings-my-brand-name). ## Example brief and lyrics (illustrative)

**Product:** a salty-sweet trail mix from Northbound Snack Co., a made-up brand. ** Buyer:** a parent packing snacks for a Saturday soccer game. ** Claims from the page:** no added sugar, resealable bag, nut-free version. ** Length:** 30 seconds, 3D look.

*Saturday, the whistle's blown, / Snack bag's empty, team's half grown, / Northbound mix, no added sugar, / Reseal the bag, it's ready later. / Nut-free bag for the whole bench, / Northbound, halftime, no more stress.*

Stock music could set the same mood, but nobody would hum "Northbound" on the drive home. Run both versions to the same audience for a week and compare cost per purchase, not just views.

## What it can’t do

- SingingAds does not provide background music beds for your own voiceover ads.
- It cannot recreate or imitate a trending song, a real band or a famous tune.
- One jingle per ad; for a month of varied YouTube content, a stock library is the practical choice.

## What it costs

From $15 for one ad, or $59 for about 6 thirty-second video ads. Credits never expire. A jingle take costs 4 credits; a typical 30-second video ad about 26. There is no free tier and no free sample.

One-time packs

### One ad

**$15** once

40 credits, about 1 thirty-second video ad

### Five ads

## Questions

**Can I use a trending TikTok sound in my ad?**

TikTok's Commercial Music Library terms allow business use of Commercial Sounds on TikTok only. Sounds from the general library are for personal, non-commercial use.

**Does Epidemic Sound cover ads?**

Its pricing FAQ says yes on the Pro or Enterprise plans, and that the catalog is royalty-free.

**Is an original jingle worth it for a small shop?**

If people forget your name, yes. If your ad is a demo that needs a voice explaining it, a quiet stock bed may serve better.

**Can I use both?**

Yes. Many brands run a jingle ad for reach and a stock-music demo for retargeting. Keep the offer the same so you can compare them.
