# Ads for your candle business that people can almost smell

A candle ad has to sell a scent through a phone screen, so the words carry it. Paste your candle's product page and SingingAds writes a jingle around its scent notes, wax and burn time, sings it with an AI voice and cuts a 9:16 video with word-by-word captions. You get an MP4 and the song, and nothing is sung that your listing does not say.

Paste your product page. SingingAds writes a jingle about it, sings it and cuts a vertical video ad, using only claims your page makes.

From $15 for one ad, or $29 a month for about 4 thirty-second video ads. Made with AI; you approve every word before anything is sung.

## Sell the scent with words, because the screen cannot

Shoppers decide on a candle by imagining it lit. Give the song three things to paint with:

- **Two or three notes, not eight.** "Cedar, rain and a little smoke" is a picture. A full fragrance pyramid is a list nobody hums.

- **A place or a moment.** The first cold evening, the bath after the kids are asleep, a rainy bookshop. The brief picks one buyer and the moment the want shows up.

- **One hard fact from the page.** Burn time, wax type or vessel. Numbers sung once are remembered; numbers sung three times are a lecture.

## One short ad per scent beats one long brand film

Candle shops sell collections, and scents win or lose on their own. A 15-second ad per scent lets you see which one earns the click, then put more budget behind it. Keep a 30-second version for the shop story if your page tells one (small batch, poured in your kitchen, a refill program). Paste each product page separately so each song names its own notes.

Looks: **cinematic** keeps your real jar unchanged in film-like light, ** clay** reads handmade and cozy, ** 3D** makes glass and flame glow, ** anime** suits a moody evening scene. Show the candle on a stable surface away from curtains; a careless flame in an ad draws the wrong comments.

## Mood words versus aromatherapy claims

This is where candle copy slips. The FDA's aromatherapy page says claims that a product will ease pain, relax muscles, treat depression or anxiety, or help you sleep are drug claims. It also notes that scented candles are regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and that advertising claims are the FTC's area.

- **Mood and imagery:** "smells like a slow Sunday", "the cabin you wish you had".

- **Drug-type claims, leave out:** "helps you sleep", "relieves stress and anxiety", "eases headaches".

Treat "non-toxic" and "clean burning" as claims you must be able to back up. If they are on your page, the brief lists them and you decide whether they stay. Body products such as massage oils and lotions sit even closer to the drug line; our page for skincare brands covers that.

## What happens after you paste the listing

You paste the candle's page; SingingAds reads the name, scent, price and photos, writes a brief and lyrics in under half a minute, sings the song in about a minute, then storyboards one shot per sung line. You get a 9:16 MP4 with captions, an offer card and an end card with your web address, plus the song on its own. Every word comes from your listing, and you approve the brief and lyrics before the song or the video is made. If the page cannot be read, describe the candle instead. See [how it works](https://singingads.com/how-it-works).

## Craft fairs, gift shops and the holiday rush

Many candle makers sell at markets and through local gift shops as well as online. The song downloads on its own, so the same jingle can play under a stall video, a stockist's post or a local radio spot, all covered by the rights with no royalties. Plan the holiday scents in early autumn: make one ad per seasonal scent, run them for a week, and move budget to the two that earn clicks. If you sell from a storefront, see the page for local shops.

## Before you post it

- Scent names sung the way you say them. "Oud" and "palo santo" are worth a respelling check.

- Burn time and size match the listing today, not last season's jar.

- The offer card matches the offer that is live on your store.

- The AI label is on when you post.

## Example brief and lyrics (illustrative example; Hollow Pine Candle Works is a made-up shop)

**Listing says:** "Cedar and Rain", soy wax, notes of cedarwood, wet stone and black pepper, 50-hour burn, 8 oz amber jar. The description also says it "melts away anxiety".

**Brief:** buyer is a renter in a small apartment who misses being outdoors; moment: first rainy evening in October. Claims to sing: the three notes, soy wax, 50-hour burn. Flagged and left out: "melts away anxiety".

**Lyrics, 15 seconds:**

- Rain on the window, nowhere to be,
- cedar and wet stone, a pinch of pepper,
- fifty slow hours in an amber jar,
- Hollow Pine, Cedar and Rain.

## What it can’t do

- It cannot make anyone smell the candle; the ad sells the idea of the scent.
- It does not post or buy the ads for you.
- If your listing shows nothing without JavaScript or blocks robots, you describe the candle by hand.

## Questions

**Can I make a separate ad for every scent?**

Yes. Paste each product page and you get a brief, song and video per scent. Each jingle costs 4 credits, and a typical 30-second ad with video is about 26 credits. Plans and packs are on [pricing](https://singingads.com/pricing).

**Can the jingle say my candles are non-toxic?**

Only if it is on your page, and it is a claim you should be able to support. The brief shows it so you can keep or cut it.

**Can it say a lavender candle helps you sleep?**

It will flag it. The FDA treats "help you sleep" as a drug claim for aromatherapy products, so the safer line is about the mood of the scent.

**How many times will it sing my shop name?**

At most three times. The music model sometimes refuses a made-up name repeated many times, and you can respell the name so it is sung the way you say it.

**Do I need to license the music?**

No. The song is original, and you may use it in ads, on social media and on your website with no royalties.
