Acceptable use policy
Last updated
SingingAds is for honest ads for real products that you own or may advertise. This policy is part of our terms of service. It applies to the pages you submit, everything you type or upload, and every ad you make or publish with SingingAds.
1. Products and services you may not advertise
- anything illegal where the ad will run, or anything sold illegally;
- weapons, ammunition, explosives and their parts, and instructions for making them;
- illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and prescription medicines or controlled substances offered without a lawful prescription process; tobacco, vaping and nicotine products;
- adult content, sexual services, sexual products presented in a sexual way, and anything sexualized;
- gambling, betting and lotteries, except where they are legal and licensed where the ad runs, aimed only at adults and compliant with the platform's own rules;
- financial scams and high-risk money schemes: get-rich-quick offers, pyramid or multi-level schemes, fake investments, unlicensed financial services, payday or debt offers that break the law, and crypto offers that promise returns;
- counterfeit, replica or stolen goods, and goods that infringe someone else's trade mark, copyright or design;
- services that help people deceive others, such as fake documents, fake reviews, essay mills or account selling.
2. Claims you may not make
- misleading health claims: that a product cures, treats or prevents a disease, replaces medical care, or causes a specific weight loss or body change, unless the claim is lawful and you hold the evidence;
- misleading money claims: promised income, returns, savings or results you cannot prove;
- false prices, discounts, deadlines, stock levels, awards, reviews, ratings or endorsements;
- comparisons with competitors that you cannot prove or that are unfair;
- anything else false or misleading about the product, the business or the offer.
SingingAds writes claims only from your page and flags risky ones, but you are responsible for every claim in your ad (terms, section 10).
3. Ads you may not make
- Political and issue ads: ads about elections, candidates, parties, referendums, legislation or political and social issues, or ads that try to influence how people vote.
- Impersonation: ads that pretend to come from another brand, business, public body or person, or that use another brand's name, logo, slogan, jingle or look to confuse people.
- Real people: ads that show, name, imitate or suggest the endorsement of a real person, including celebrities, without their documented consent; requests to imitate a real singer's voice or style, a band or a known song.
- Hate and harassment: content that attacks, demeans or threatens people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any similar characteristic; harassment, bullying or threats against anyone.
- Minors: any content that sexualizes, endangers or exploits children; ads for products that may not lawfully be sold to children that target or appeal to them.
- Violence and danger: content that promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism or dangerous activities.
- Spam and deception: mass-produced ads for spam campaigns, ads for misleading or malicious sites, phishing, malware, or content made to pass as not AI-generated.
4. Using the service
- Submit only pages and material you own or have permission to use.
- Do not try to get around safety filters, credit charges, rate limits or our decisions, for example by opening extra accounts.
- Do not use automated means to sign up, scrape, overload or attack the service, or try to reach other users' data.
- Do not remove, alter or hide SynthID watermarks or other AI markings.
- Do not resell access to SingingAds itself. Making ads for your own clients is allowed.
- Follow the usage rules of our model providers, including Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy.
5. What we do
We may refuse to make an ad, refuse or remove any content, stop a step, and suspend or close an account that breaks this policy. We act in proportion to the problem and may act at once in serious cases. We may report illegal content to the authorities and cooperate with lawful requests. Our model providers run their own safety filters and may refuse requests; a refused step's credits come back automatically. Credits spent on content that breaks this policy are not otherwise refunded, except where the law requires it.
If you think we got a decision wrong, tell us through the contact form and a person will review it.
6. Reporting abuse
If you see a SingingAds ad that breaks this policy, or that uses your work, brand, name, voice or likeness without permission, report it through the contact form. Include a link or description of the ad, what is wrong and how to reach you. You do not need an account. Rights holders can also follow the notice and takedown steps in section 15 of the terms of service.
