AI tools for Shopify video ads, checked on their own sites

Split the job in two. To run the ads, the TikTok, Facebook & Instagram and Google & YouTube apps in the Shopify App Store are free to install and sync your products and pixel. To make the video, paste a product link into a link-to-video tool such as Creatify, Zeely, Topview, Revid or SingingAds, or edit clips you already have in CapCut. Prices below were read on 26 Oct 2026.

How we put this list together

On 26 October 2026 we opened each tool's own site: the product page, the pricing page where one was public, and for the channel apps, their listing in the Shopify App Store. Nothing here is paid for and the order is not a ranking. We make SingingAds, so weigh its entry with that in mind. A few pricing pages showed us prices in a local currency rather than US dollars; those entries say so instead of guessing a conversion.

Apps that run the ads, tools that make them

The three channel apps come from TikTok Inc., Meta and Google. Each listing says the app is free to install and that ad spend is billed to your ad account on that platform, not through Shopify. Their listings focus on syncing your catalog, setting up the pixel and building campaigns; TikTok's listing also says you can create ads from your own images or videos.

So the real choice for most stores is the maker: where the 9:16 video itself comes from. That is what the rest of the list covers. Install the channel app for wherever you plan to run ads first, because the pixel needs a few days of data before you judge any ad. If you want to see what a link-to-video draft looks like before choosing, our product page to video ad page shows each step.

What a link-to-video tool reads from your Shopify page

Every tool that starts from a product link can only use what the page shows: the title, the description, the price and the images. Before you paste anything, fix the page. Put the one benefit you want sung or spoken near the top of the description, use photos where the product fills the frame, and delete claims you could not prove if asked. A tool that writes a script from a vague page writes a vague ad.

If your store is still behind Shopify's password page, a public reader sees nothing useful; describe the product by hand instead.

Pick by the ad you want, not the feature list

  • A person talking about the product: Creatify, Topview and Tagshop AI offer AI actors or avatars; see our AI UGC tools guide for that format alone.
  • Scenes and music instead of a talking head: SingingAds and Revid's song ad option build the ad around a track.
  • You already have clips: CapCut or Pippit, where you do the cutting.

The same finished MP4 can go on the product page too. Shopify's help center lists product videos up to 10 minutes and 1 GB, in .mp4, .mov or .webm, up to 4K.

Before you pay for a plan

Run the same product through two tools and compare the drafts side by side; most offer a cheap or no-cost way to see one result. Check where the music comes from and whether your plan covers its use in ads, and plan to label realistic AI footage (our AI label guide has the platform rules). Then test two or three versions with a small budget, as in testing creatives on a small budget.

  • TikTok (Shopify app by TikTok Inc.)

Syncs products from Shopify to TikTok, sets up the TikTok Pixel in one click, lets you create TikTok ads from your own images or videos and connects TikTok Shop orders to your admin.

    Best for
Stores that plan to advertise on TikTok and want tracking set up properly first.
    Price
Free to install; ad spend billed to your TikTok ad account (listing read 26 Oct 2026)

Stores running Reels and feed ads on Meta.
    Price
Free to install; ad spend billed to your Facebook ad account

Stores that want Shopping and YouTube placements from one campaign.
    Price
Free to install; ad spend billed to your Google Ads account

A no-cost plan with 10 credits a month and a watermark; Standard about ten US dollars a month on yearly billing

What it can't do

  • Prices and features change often; this reflects what each site showed on 26 Oct 2026.
  • We did not run a scored test, so the order is not a ranking.
  • We make SingingAds, one of the tools listed.

Questions

Do I need a Shopify app to make video ads?

No. Link-to-video tools read your public product page, so no install is needed. The channel apps matter for running and tracking the ads, mainly the pixel and the product catalog.

Which tool should a new Shopify store try first?

Install the channel app for the platform you will advertise on, then make one ad for your strongest product with whichever maker fits the ad you want. One finished ad you can test beats three half-explored subscriptions.

Can I put the ad on my product page as well?

Usually yes. Shopify lists product videos up to 10 minutes and 1 GB as .mp4, .mov or .webm, so a short vertical MP4 fits. Check that any music in it is licensed for your website too.

Will these tools use my real product photos?

Most start from the images on your page. Check every frame anyway: some tools redraw the product, and a changed label or color is a problem in an ad. SingingAds shows your photos as they are.

Are Shopify channel apps really no cost?

The listings say free to install. What you pay is the ad spend, set by you and billed by TikTok, Meta or Google directly.
